The Don's Forbidden Pet

About this story

Eli Gray, a low-level runner for New York’s Langston crime family, buys into rumors that young mafia don Victor Langston is intersex and prone to violent breakdowns. When Victor suffers a severe drug relapse, Eli bursts into his penthouse with a medical kit, gambling his life on the secret he thinks he holds. Victor spares Eli, drawing him into his inner circle with exclusive privileges and consuming possessiveness. Eli’s misguided plan to gift the rescued Shaw brothers to Victor stokes raging jealousy. As the truth unravels, Eli discovers the rumors are rival slander—Victor’s trauma stems from a past kidnapping and forced drugging. Bound by love, Eli becomes the don’s acknowledged right-hand partner.
