Taming A Thorny Rose

About this story

On the night of her eighteenth birthday, Selina, heiress to a legendary line of vampire hunters, is handed over by her own father as a peace offering to Lucien, the Vampire Emperor whose cruelty is spoken of in whispers. She would rather die than yield to him. At their wedding, she draws his blood with her own teeth, marking the line between them. By midnight, she's climbing out a castle window in a desperate bid for freedom, and later, when desire threatens to consume him, she doesn't hesitate to turn a dagger toward his heart. But Lucien has no intention of losing his thorned rose. He locks her away in his ancient fortress, cuts down a lethal siren sent to claim her, defies his entire bloodline, and refuses to release her even as her blade draws his own blood. A blood bond now chains their fates together, sworn enemies who cannot break free of one another. The harder she fights to escape, the more her body betrays her, drawn against her will toward the very man she swore to destroy. Beneath the castle's ancient stone walls, dark secrets stir, and danger waits in every shadow. Born from possession and hatred, will this forbidden love end in ruin, or in surrender neither of them can resist?
